About the Artist
Caroline Hall has always created. As a child, drawing and making simple pots and later working in a pottery studio and completing a BA Fine Arts Degree at Cheltenham. After years painting in Belgium, Caroline returned to the UK and settled at Worcester. Her work whether painting, printmaking or pottery, has a nod to the importance of animals, people and authenticity. The art Caroline creates is rooted in tradition.

Her belief is that craftsmanship is something to be enjoyed by everyone. It is a theme of the Arts and Crafts movement and one which Caroline embraces in her artwork. Her use of gold leaf & intense, rich flowers celebrate the importance of the countryside and nature to the artist.

"The relationship we have with the landscape, walking, sitting with family and friends. Simply being in the natural world, heals us and brings a sense of peace."
Caroline's paintings range from local malvern landscapes, urban Worcester and animals. Her new collection of work feature initiation gold leaf and wildlife in leafy, lush and bold foliage. An animal is gently hidden within this foliage or standing proudly, inviting us to engage, celebrate and protect our natural world.
